This is how it always looks - screen becomes a bit brighter, sound dissapears: (attachment) and then it's over. Also, could anyone who beat it tell me what version did he/she use - digital or disc? With updates or without? Now that I'm a little bit troubled and don't know what else I could do, I'm asking for advice. Generally the game didn't freeze for me anywhere else before.
This freeze doesn't happen to me in any other mode, got through NYM in this chapter several times and it's always ok. My PS3 definitely isn't overheating and it's the only game breaking bug I encounter in this mode (I had level loading issues in chapter 7 which are also very common, but learned how to avoid them). redownloading and reinstalling the game before every run shooting the last enemy in different parts of body and from different positions, when he stands or hides in different places playing through the entire mode without pausing the game even once and doing it as quickly as I can/playing slowly and making short breaks before every level using different weapons to kill enemies in this room playing offline with updates installed (v1.09) and without (v1.05 - default version of the game from PS Store) I've read it's quite common bug, but can't find any working solution.
Ok, so I got to chapter 13 in NYM HC mode 5 or 6 times already and game freezes every time I kill the last enemy just before heavy armoured one with LMG should come through door.
